Visa for filmmakers in Indonesia
Requirements for the journalist visa vary from embassy to embassy. Consult the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your country, or simply start with us.
What you need
To film in Indonesia, journalists and filmmakers must hold all required filming permits and relevant permissions, including for sensitive areas, which require submitting project outlines and details of locations, crews and equipment in advance.
You must also agree to abide by all conditions, including local laws and government regulations. Your local Indonesian Embassy or Consulate, or the Directorate of Film Industry Development, can confirm the current requirements.
